Genealogical research can lead one in so many different directions, and is a hobby which has been growing over the years with programmes such as “Who do you Think You Are” demonstrating the incredible stories which make a family history.
Edinburgh in November – a great time for visitors who are Searching for Scottish Ancestors. The city is a little quieter before we gear up for the Christmas and New Year celebrations. Therefore making it an ideal time for visitors who are looking to do some research into their Family Tree.

As you drive up the A1 from the south or arrive in Edinburgh by train you’ll see views towards Salisbury Crags. Unfortunately some sections of the path are currently closed due to falling rock.
